Boho Glam

I've been a little quiet over the past week, and for good reason! I had a chance to compete in the first round of The Grove's Interior Design Throwdown, and am pleased to say that I am their first Finalist! Bellow are some shots of the build I did for the competition, with special shoutouts to the fantastic sponsors I used to make this lovely florists getaway, a reality!

A shot of the livingroom and the front patio, featuring creations from Moss&Mink, Kraftwork, Soy, and more!

I used the Silvia Curtains from Lagom throughout this build to help give it just a little bit of a girly flare. They also matched the yellow accents just perfectly. They were very easy to scale up to fit the windows, and not too prim heavy once resized. Along with this, they come with a variety of colors to choose from, including this lovely yellow shade!

I'm a fan of high clutter builds, and the trick to making this open air space feel lived in and homey, and stay under the 2,000 prim count the land allowed, is all in the linking.

The Dining room has to be one of my favorite spaces. I went for modern style furniture to offset the girly color pallet to give a glam feel to what would normally be a shabby chic space. The result? The perfect blend of boho and chic. The Charlotte Table Setting from Mudhoney helped to set off the blacknest dining table, with the yellow napkins and salmon plates (tinted!) helping to tie in the color scheme.

The bedroom is another super feminine space that I was challeneged to bring a little bit more upscale to. Nothing says glam to me like the Lagom Mannequin Collection. I used a few of the dresses that I felt best fit the space, and then filled in the dressing area with parts from the Messy Missy Gatcha, including the rare hanging rack!

But how to bring a modern touch to such a boho, girly space? With a fucking wallpaper of course! I'm obsessed with a black and white zigzag.

I finished off the back patio with the Dana Patio set from Mudhoney. The bright colors and tropical print pillows really helped to round out the outdoor space at the front of the house and give guests a relaxing place to enjoy the sunrise.
